Meet the Bears
Leanna Studios joins the many volunteers by sewing bears and making custom embroidered t-shirts and hand crochet dresses. Some of these go to Hospice patients associated with ViaQuest Hospice. This is the same Hospice that Lady & Lea do Pet Therapy visiting for.
Our Mission starts with making the Bear Skins. Volunteers cut out the donated fabric and give a Bear set, with eyes & nose, to Volunteers who sew the Skins.
Next comes the stuffing, closing the access hole, and dressing. Each bear is a unique gift made with the love of many volunteers.
Once a month a group of volunteers meet at Christ Church in Mason, Ohio and make, stuff and dress bears for cancer patients and other serious illnesses. It has become a huge ministry to sick and hurting folks in our area.
