Subject: Duct Tape Double File Download Instructions
Thank you for your interest in the Leanna Studios Instructional Files. To view and print out a PDF file you will need Adobe® Acrobat® Reader 4.0 or better. If you don't already have it, you can download it for free from Adobe http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html You need to have the Reader installed before you can download the Duct Tape file and see it. Click on the link below to download the Duct Tape Double,
Edition 3, PDF File. http://www.leanna.com/GetFiles/Leanna/DTD2Ed.pdf
When you click on the link the Adobe Reader will automatically load inside your browser. When the file is finished downloading, the Reader will automatically open it so you can view it. At this time you can do all the things you can normally do with a windows program file - save, print, or just read through it. Depending on what programs you are using your computer may give you a box that lets you choose to open or save the file when you click on the link. If it doesn't here are some instructions. 1. Click on the word "File" in the upper left
hand corner of your browser's window. You will get a list. 2. Click on the word "Save As..." You will get
another window asking you where you want to save the file to. 3. Select the drive you want to save the file to in the
top window labeled "Save in:" and a directory from the list
in the lower window. Click the "Save" button in the lower
right hand corner. Your file will save to your selections. 4. It's a good idea to write down your selections before you click the save button so you can find it when you want it. If you use Netscape like I do, you can also hold down the Ctrl key on your keyboard while you press the "S" key. You will get the same Save window. I hope you find these instructions easy to understand and that you are able to make your Double soon. Please let us know how it turns out and if you have any questions you can always write me. Thank you again for your interest!

The downloading instructions in this e-mail will work for most computers, but since there are many kinds of computing systems out there, they do not all work alike. Here are some alternative ways to make your download work if you are having trouble.
Instead of clicking with the left button of your mouse, right click on the link. A menu will came up. Select the item that says, "save target as". It should give you a box that you can select a location to save the file at. When you click on the "Save" button, the file should download and save to the location you chose.
When you want to view the file you will have to open it in the Adobe Reader program.
Usually when a menu item is gray that means you can not use it. Several folks have written to me that after downloading the file and watching the Adobe Reader open it on their computer they were confused by the top menu bar having all the selections gray, meaning that the File selections, like saving, were unavailable. Sometime Adobe does produce a glitch like this and will not let you save the file and sometimes it's just a goofy menu. Clicking on the File, even though gray does usually shock it into coughing up the proper list of selections.
If clicking on "File", though gray, does not help, all is not lost. Restarting the program sometimes gets Adobe to load better, but you sometimes have to restart the whole computer to get the system working properly.
Notice: Computers were designed for the mutual frustration of mankind. It is their mission to mess up at the most inconvenient moments.
Computers are fussy things. They get PMS (persnickety machine syndrome). Often the solution to a problem is wait a few minutes and try again.
My setup isn't like most you-get-one-shot-at-it deals. I set up a download for just you with your own link. It stays active for at least 48 hours (depending on when I get to cleaning house it could be there for 4 days or so) So you should have enough time to get the file, even if it takes a few tries. I understand how ISP's are sometimes.
If you find that you need more time than 48 hours, all you have to do is let me know and I can keep your link active for as long as you need. Just please tell me as soon as you have the file all saved on your computer so I can use the space for the next person who wants to order.
If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer, try using Netscape. I don't know why, but sometimes Netscape works better.
If you do not receive the download instructions email within 48 hours of sending in your order form, you may have typed your email incorrectly on the order form. If you are sure it was correct a SPAM program might be blocking me from sending you the download instructions. It is your responsibility to add me to any SPAM program list as an address to accept before you send me an order.
